Coach Selection Process

Step 1: Please complete the Coaching application form below

• (In the event there are multiple coaches applying for the same coaching position, some additional of following information maybe requested and considered.)

Step 2: Selection process will follow:

• All potential coaching applicants will be reviewed by the Director of Coaching Development. Coaching Director will seek further information about the applicant (if required) from Division directors and/or Board members.
• If all requested information is collected, and coach meets requirements to fit the role and there are not multiple coaches applying for the same coaching position, the coaching director (if needed) would work together with the coach to review past coaching feedback for the purpose of providing support to that coach on improving on their upcoming season. (Coach feedback is accepted and filtered through the division and coaching directors throughout the year. Anonymous feedback on our coaches will not be considered.) -Coach is accepted
• If there are multiple coaches applying for the same coaching position, additional information will be requested from the potential applicants.

To complete a fair and non-biased evaluation, those applications will be reviewed and anonymously voted upon by the following individuals- Selection Committee comprised of 3 experienced board members chosen by the Coaching Coordinator who are not associated with the division in question (does not have a child in that division). Facilitated by the Coaching coordinator, the selection committee will have the opportunity to review applications and request previous coaching feedback to aid in the process. The selection committee may reach out to each coach for an interview if more information is desired. The selection committee when ready would then vote on their choice for the Coaching position. This vote is done anonymously. -Coach is selected

All information from Section (B) that is required to affiliate each coach with Softball Saskatchewan will be collected and stored through RAMP Interactive Registration:

Step 3: Click on the link to register as a coach:

• Login and select Coach/Staff Registration.  Under choose a family member it must be the name of the person applying to coach. Complete the form with all the information that can be found below.

• (Once Coach is appointed and Ramp coach registration has opened)

This is the basic information we require for all our coaches. If a Coach does not fulfill proper affiliation registration requirements, they will be removed from a coaching position.
